Timing is also critical. TMCF releases scholarships in waves rather than on one annual deadline, and each award sets its own dates rather than sharing a wave-wide window. The Enterprise Access HBCU Scholarship for 2027-2028 opened August 3, 2026 and closes January 8, 2027 at 11:59 p.m. EST. The 2026-2027 gap and completion awards run on their own schedule: the Lowe's Gap Scholarship opened June 1, 2026 and closes December 1, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. EST. TMCF's own application-process page still describes a November opening, which the individual scholarship pages contradict, so go by the page for the specific award you want rather than by any summary, including this one.
